Test Your Shoulder Mobility (MOVEMENT OF THE DAY)

In this video I show you a quick self-assessment to test your shoulder mobility, and a technique you can use to immediately improve it.

If you don’t have full mobility in your shoulders when you do the Apley’s Scratch Test, then I want you to do the shoulder mobilization that I demonstrate in the video and reassess afterwards.

Most people will notice an immediate improvement in their shoulder mobility. If you don’t have a monsterband, you can tie a towel in a loop (thanks @jeremy_maarman for this tip!)

SELF-ADMINISTERED SHOULDER MOBILIZATION⁣ ⁣

1 – Lateral Distraction with 1-2 oscillations/sec for 30 seconds⁣ ⁣

2 – Lateral Distraction with 12-20 flexion-extension cycles⁣

Not Sure Where to Start?

Hi, I'm Thomas...

I understand what it is like to live with low back pain because I have three bulging discs and osteoarthritis in my low back. I learned how to not only manage my low back pain, but eliminate it almost entirely and without prescription drugs. I can teach you how to do the same.
