Test Your Hamstring Length (MOVEMENT OF THE DAY)

In this video I show you a quick assessment to test the length of your hamstrings, and two techniques you can do at home to improve their flexibility.

If you don’t come within 20 degrees of total knee extension when you do the hamstring muscle-length test, then I want you to do the release and stretch that I demonstrate in the video and reassess afterwards.

CORRECTIVE ROUTINE

1 – Myofascial Release of the Biceps Femoris (lateral hamstring): 30 sec 2 min

2 – Biceps Femoris Active Stretch: 12-20 reps, holding the end-range for 2-4 seconds.

Not Sure Where to Start?

Hi, I'm Thomas...

I understand what it is like to live with low back pain because I have three bulging discs and osteoarthritis in my low back. I learned how to not only manage my low back pain, but eliminate it almost entirely and without prescription drugs. I can teach you how to do the same.
